1. Who we are
The AI Act Compliance Checker ("Service") is operated by Cybermed Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15913436), in partnership with the New Era Research Group (the "Provider", "we", "us").

2. What the Service does
The Service analyses text content submitted by the user through a rule-based engine executed entirely in the user's browser, and returns indicative flags referring to articles of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the "EU AI Act"). Analysis is performed client-side; no submitted text is transmitted to or stored on our servers.
3. Not legal advice
The Service provides heuristic indications only based on pattern matching. Results do not constitute legal advice, conformity assessment, certification, or any form of official determination under the EU AI Act or any other regulation. The user remains solely responsible for their own compliance obligations and should consult qualified legal counsel for binding advice.
4. Acceptable use
By using the Service you agree not to:
- submit content you are not authorised to process;
- submit personal data beyond what is strictly necessary for the analysis;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or compromise the Service;
- use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of third-party rights.
5. Early access and contact-based requests
The paid tiers ("Starter", "Custom") are currently offered on an early-access basis. When you click a "Request early access" or "Contact us" button, your email client opens a pre-filled message addressed to us.
By sending such an email you expressly agree that:
- we may use the email address and any information you provide to respond to your enquiry and to contact you regarding the Service;
- we may include you in a notification list for the commercial launch of the Service;
- the email and its content are processed for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy;
- no contractual obligation is created between us until a separate written agreement is signed.
6. Consulting services
Where, following an enquiry, we propose advisory or consulting services (including EU AI Act and NIS2 compliance support, COF framework integration, or assessment work), such services will be governed by a separate, written service agreement signed by both parties. The present Terms do not constitute an offer of services.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including the rule-based engine, the COF v5.0 framework, documentation, text, graphics, and code (excluding open-source components under their respective licences), is the property of Cybermed Technologies Ltd and the New Era Research Group and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Service as provided.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the flags returned are exhaustive or accurate for any specific use case.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cybermed Technologies Ltd, the New Era Research Group, and their respective directors, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to the use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
10. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, save for the mandatory rights of consumers resident in the European Union to bring proceedings in their country of residence.

2. Cosa fa il Servizio
Il Servizio analizza il testo inserito dall'utente tramite un motore a regole eseguito interamente nel browser dell'utente, e restituisce indicazioni (flag) riferite ad articoli del Regolamento (UE) 2024/1689 ("EU AI Act"). L'analisi avviene lato client; nessun testo inviato viene trasmesso o conservato sui nostri server.
3. Non costituisce consulenza legale
Il Servizio fornisce indicazioni euristiche basate su riconoscimento di pattern testuali. I risultati non costituiscono consulenza legale, valutazione di conformità, certificazione o determinazione ufficiale ai sensi dell'EU AI Act o di altra normativa. L'utente resta l'unico responsabile dei propri obblighi di compliance e deve rivolgersi a consulenti legali qualificati per valutazioni vincolanti.
4. Uso consentito
Utilizzando il Servizio l'utente si impegna a non:
- inserire contenuti per i quali non è autorizzato al trattamento;
- inserire dati personali oltre quanto strettamente necessario all'analisi;
- tentare di effettuare reverse engineering, sovraccaricare o compromettere il Servizio;
- utilizzare il Servizio per finalità illecite o in violazione di diritti di terzi.
5. Early access e richieste via email
I piani a pagamento ("Starter", "Su Misura") sono attualmente offerti in modalità early access. Cliccando un pulsante "Richiedi early access" o "Contattaci" si apre il client email dell'utente con un messaggio precompilato indirizzato a noi.
Inviando tale email l'utente accetta espressamente che:
- potremo utilizzare l'indirizzo email e le informazioni fornite per rispondere alla richiesta e contattare l'utente in merito al Servizio;
- potremo inserire l'utente in una lista di notifica per il lancio commerciale del Servizio;
- l'email e il suo contenuto saranno trattati per le finalità descritte nella nostra Informativa Privacy;
- non si costituisce alcun obbligo contrattuale tra le parti fino alla sottoscrizione di un accordo scritto separato.
6. Servizi di consulenza
Qualora, a seguito di una richiesta, proponessimo servizi di consulenza (inclusa la compliance EU AI Act e NIS2, l'integrazione del framework COF, o attività di valutazione), tali servizi saranno disciplinati da un separato contratto di servizio scritto sottoscritto da entrambe le parti. I presenti Termini non costituiscono offerta di servizi.
7. Proprietà intellettuale
Il Servizio, incluso il motore a regole, il framework COF v5.0, la documentazione, i testi, la grafica e il codice (esclusi i componenti open source soggetti alle rispettive licenze), è di proprietà di Cybermed Technologies Ltd e del New Era Research Group ed è tutelato dalle leggi sulla proprietà intellettuale applicabili. All'utente è concesso un diritto d'uso limitato, revocabile e non esclusivo del Servizio così come fornito.
8. Esclusione di garanzie
Il Servizio è fornito "così com'è" e "come disponibile". Nella misura massima consentita dalla legge escludiamo ogni garanzia, espressa o implicita, inclusa l'idoneità a uno scopo specifico, l'accuratezza, la completezza e la non violazione di diritti di terzi. Non garantiamo che il Servizio sia ininterrotto, privo di errori, né che i flag restituiti siano esaustivi o accurati per uno specifico caso d'uso.
9. Limitazione di responsabilità
Nella misura massima consentita dalla legge applicabile, Cybermed Technologies Ltd, il New Era Research Group e i rispettivi amministratori, dipendenti e collaboratori non saranno responsabili per danni indiretti, incidentali, consequenziali, speciali o esemplari, inclusa la perdita di profitti, dati o avviamento, derivanti dall'uso del Servizio, anche se informati della possibilità di tali danni.
Nulla nei presenti Termini limita le responsabilità che non possono essere limitate ai sensi della legge applicabile (inclusi dolo, colpa grave, o morte o lesioni personali causati da negligenza).
10. Modifiche al Servizio e ai Termini
Possiamo modificare il Servizio o i presenti Termini in qualsiasi momento. Le modifiche sostanziali saranno notificate aggiornando la data "Ultimo aggiornamento" sopra. L'uso continuato del Servizio dopo una modifica costituisce accettazione dei Termini aggiornati.
11. Legge applicabile e foro competente
I presenti Termini sono disciplinati dalle leggi di Inghilterra e Galles, senza riguardo alle norme sui conflitti di legge. I tribunali di Inghilterra e Galles hanno giurisdizione esclusiva, fatti salvi i diritti inderogabili dei consumatori residenti nell'Unione Europea di adire i tribunali del proprio paese di residenza.
